Onsen Ryokan Yuen Sapporo

Honestly, the stair design in our room was a nightmare. Narrow steps leading to a drop created a serious hazard - one family member fell and hurt their back, while another banged their leg. Totally unsafe and inexcusable!

The location of the hotel was central, next to the Hokkaido university botanic garden and restaurants nearby. The staff were exceptionally nice and amicable all the time. We booked twin room and really enjoyed it

The hotel had particularly good location close enough to the botanical gardens, main attractions and where the Snow Festival was held.

we had a wonderful stay at Onsen Ryokan Yuen. the blend of modern amenities with traditional ryokan charm made our experience nice. our room, while cozy, featured tatami flooring and a comfortable bed. we appreciated the quiet ambiance, which allowed for restful nights. the onsite onsen was a highlight for us, and we enjoyed the good japanese breakfast. the friendly staff were helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a unique stay.

the cleanliness of the newly opened facilities and rooms stood out to me. i particularly enjoyed the hot springs, which offered a warm and relaxing experience. the breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of local and creative dishes that exceeded my expectations. overall, it was a nice stay, with well-appointed amenities and a lovely atmosphere.

The venue was in a central location near the Hokkaido university botanic garden, main attractions of Sapporo and train station. Tried some nice meals at Ramen Senju, located near the hotel.

During my transit stay at Onsen Ryokan Yuen Sapporo, I appreciated its ideal location near a metro station, making it easy to navigate the city. The modern ryokan experience was enhanced by the serene onsen and wellness facilities, allowing me to unwind after a day of exploring.

One minor downside was the breakfast menu, which remained the same every morning.

It was just a great fit for a speedy visit in Sapporo with excellent value for money. The room wasvery comfy and tidy, making our short stay enjoyable. Make sure to book breakfast in advance to avoid delays during busy hours.

I found the hotel ideally located with the Hokkaido University Botanical Gardens just a 10-minute walk away and the historic Former Hokkaido Government Office Building only about 500 meters away, making it easy to explore central Sapporo's beautiful sights.

The modern hotel offers an authentic feel with a surprisingly spacious triple room, ideal for families. The proximity to Odori Park made accessing local events easy, although heavy rain hampered walks to nearby attractions. The on-site coin laundry was a convenient bonus. While the atmosphere is stylishly Japanese, the tight space may pose challenges for those with larger luggage.

Breakfast is high-quality Japanese cuisine, but don't forget to book your spot in advance! While spacious rooms offer comfort, the bustling onsen may feel crowded at times.

Still, the overall experience was comfortable and welcoming.
